Up for auction is a very nice antique American Medicin/Tonic bottle from Louisville Kentucky, Mid 19th Century.

Iron Pontil on the bottom.

Beautiful aqua color. Color on the photos is hard to resemble the real color.

I found some info in the Daily Louisville Democrat newspaper from April 9 1856. See photo.

It measures 5.1" ( 13 cm) tall.  2.8" ( 7 cm ) wide, 2.3" ( 5,8cm ) deep, 

Total weight is 11.56 oz ( 327 grams ) 

It is in overall good but used condition. Normal traces of usage and age.
