This peasant top was purchased while on vacation around 1985 in what was then known as Yugoslavia, where it was hand embroidered. It was purchased in a little village shop, where I bought several other hand embroidered tops, fully appreciating the time and skill that went into the hand work. It's new, never used. Both sides of the beautiful time-intensive embroidery are shown.
Please note that there may be some light colored staining in places due to age. No attempt has been made to remove any stains, so they may come out with a little effort. Please see photos.
Since the tops are not sized, the dimensions will be given for each one.
This top is sized approximately Large to XL.
21" across chest under arms (42" circumference)
27" long from the approximate shoulder seam (raglan sleeves) to the rounded bottom hem.
8-9" sleeve (approx, since sleeves are raglan style and have no shoulder seam.)
