Japanese Kyusu Teapot Tokoname 250ml / 1 cup Red-Brown Clay w/Side Handle, Calligraphy and Strainer

Traditional Japanese pottery side handle teapot -Tokoname ware (Tokoname yaki). Made of red clay (Shudei) and decorated with calligraphy / poem engraved on the body. Ball handle on lid, lid has one hole. Original lable/sticker on lid and the seal of the potter is stamped on the body - just below handle. There is a built in ceramic strainer between the spout and body (inside) and also a removable mesh strainer. Measures 3.5" high, 6.5" wide and has a 250 ml / 8 oz. capacity.

Pre-owned -LIKE NEW. No chips, cracks, damage or signs of use. Original sticker still on lid.
