RARE TEAC A-4010SL REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDER JAPAN 1966 , 4 track stereo, VGC!.

Here we have for sale one of my collection of reel to reel tape recorders, only one model like this ones on UK Ebay (probably worldwide) when listed!

For serious collectors of vintage equipment in good cosmetic condition

Very rare model and hard to find this days in working condition,the tape deck just has been serviced , mechanics lubricated, potentiometers cleaned and lubricated, belts replaced.

The sound quality is amazing! This is 4 tracks stereo model with speed of 3 1/4 and 7 1/2

When using good quality tape and recording on higher speed the sound is excellent! I have had many of reel to reel tape decks , some of them even more expensive but the sound quality from this Teac on 7 1/2 is incredible good compared to other machines

For cosmetic condition please see attached pictures, generally is in very good condition, some scratches on the wooden surface but the front panel is in really good condition- please study pictures carefully for details.

This is a vintage audio equipment, 58 years old,you do need to have a basic knowledge of use, operate and maintenance of the machine!

I have had few returns due to buyer complaints the machine is not working because they didn’t put the tape correctly on the reels or didn’t clean heads regularly causing poor sound quality

So please, please, please DO NOT BUY if you don’t know how to use the machine! Thank you!
