About this Bike Frame:

Beautiful Argos with Nervex features  to recover as a project or ready to build onto original paint & charming patina 

Argos confirm the impression  this frame was painted by them sometime in 1990s but is not one that was made by them. 

Frame number 1074

An Argos  branded Bicycle frame with the much sort after Nervex Professional Lugs. Also with Nervex bottom bracket shell. 

Frame has cast ends, braze-ons for mudguards, shifters , about BB gear cables and bottle cage mounts and also has rear derailleur hanger. Rear stays are delightfully crafted as they  rest aside the seat post requirements seems to be between 26.4 / 26.6

Frame has plenty of age related marks.

It's possible some of this work some years post building.
