This 5 Pin to 8 Pin Jumper Harness is used ONLY WITH THE Part# W11517113 ICE MAKER, in a refrigerator that has an 8 pin connector in the freezer, instead of the normal 5 pin connector in the freezer that it was designed for!
This is not the Normal 5 Pin Jumper Harness that comes with the W11517113 ice maker, that is made to plug into the 5 pin connector in the freezer!

This Jumper Harness, as the picture in the ad shows and states, is DESIGNED ONLY FOR THE WHIRLPOOL ICE MAKER Part# W11517113. This Ice Maker is the ONLY ice maker that uses this Jumper Harness!
If you need the "5 Pin Harness" that will make your existing Modular Ice Maker work, you will need the "5 Pin Harness", also Designed and manufactured by ABA, instead of this Jumper Harness.
The Modular Ice Maker "5 Pin Harness" is also available, if you don't have a W11517113 Ice Maker!
If you have a Modular Ice Maker, there are 2 options for you:
1) Newly designed ABA "5 Pin Harness" plugs into the Modular Ice Maker and then into the 5 pin connector in the freezer and you have ice!
