Pair of Triad S-35A output transformers.

Primary impedance is 5K ohms.

Secondary 4,8,16 ohms.

20-20,000 cycles for frequency response, and rated at 20 watts.

Triad made the best audio transformers.

These are for a pair of 6l6 , 2A3, 6B4G, or any other tube that does well at a 5K primary.

Class of operation and plate voltage and current are big considerations when choosing an optimal primary impedance transformer.

So you should consider that there are many more possibilities than you may be aware of.

Of course im available to consult with you about technical considerations. Ask any questions you may have. As a builder myself with 15 years of building and experience, ill likely be able to help guide you toward the right decisions.

Now i must say, most people are unaware that in the old days, when manufacturers rated speakers and audio transformers, the wattage rating assigned to each unit was based on the idea that they would be used for integrated music. Integrated, meaning all frequencies , including the lowest bass responses.

Now bass frequency of the lowest register requires alot of power to reproduce and so when assessing the 20 watt rating and considering its usefullness, please also consider that the rating goes up significantly if you are not planning to pass loud bass transients.

For instance, if you used these in a guitar amp that never sees the low bass frequency, than the rating of the output transformer essentially doubles to 40 watts.

Same thing with old speakers, the Jensen P12N was rated at 18 watts as a full range speaker for integrated music.

But in a guitar amp, they dont pass the bass through the voice coil of the speaker, so the rating of an old jensen p12n would be more like 35 watts per speaker.

I hope that makes sense. File that gold nugget of knowledge away, it will help you make informed decisions.
