Betnard Leach porcelain vase pale blue celadon glaze over white brushed slip, the body divided into six sections by impressed vertical lines, impressed BL and Leach Pottery seals

The vase is without cracks, chips or restoration.

If I was to describe any ‘defects’ I would identify a tiny piece of ‘grit’ midway down the body (photograph 4). There is a small area of graze crazing around it.

It was clearly part of the vase’s production so is not damage.

Height 18.5 cms

Diameter around midriff approximately 20 cms

The value of Bernard’s work seems to rise and fall with the tides.

At the moment it seems to be rising - this was expensive for me at auction and consequently I am asking for a high price.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

I can ship internationally I have included a nominal figure of £40

I calculate the cost using the most reliable couriers and depending on how fast the customer requires delivery I add £4 onto the cost of postage for my additional time and subtract that from £40 and refund the difference to the buyer.

The cost will vary from country to country from courier to courier and will depend upon weight and size of the parcel when packed.
