The CD-S2000/CD-S1000 is carefully sound-tuned using a Burr Brown 192kHz/24-bit compatible D/A converter as its raw material. As a full-fledged CD-only player, natural and high-purity sound quality is pursued.
Yamaha Original Loader
Yamaha's original loader mechanism, which firmly supports the entire CD drive and loading mechanism, accurately reads the music signals recorded on the disc and achieves remarkably quiet and smooth loading operation. It boasts a stylish thin tray and a high-quality operation feeling that is gentle to the disc.
Pure Direct Mode
Pressing the "Pure Direct" button on the front panel turns off the main unit display and stops the digital output circuit. The signal path is purified to obtain the highest quality analog audio output. This function is recommended for those who frequently playback audio.
Front USB port
A front USB port is provided on the left side of the front panel for easy connection of your USB memory device (USB mass storage) or USB portable music player. The built-in high-quality sound D/A converter can be used to play back digital music data recorded in MP3 or WMA format with better sound.
