Sage de Cret have been around since 2001, although they are one of those more cultish labels that produces in small quantities and has limited international distribution. With Sage de Cret, the emphasis is on re-imagining classic military wear, although they step up the quality of the materials considerably, where they seem to be especially fond of garment dyeing.

This jacket is Sage de Cret's reinterpretation of the classic M65 jacket. It has been garment dyed and the silhouette has been slimmed down for a much sharper fit. Fabric is 100% cotton, putting this on the lighter side of the scale. Color is a nicely uneven shade of green. Details include snaps and zip down the front. Collar has a zipped section, and left arm has a zipped pocket. All zips include tonal fabric pulls. Cuffs and pockets have snap closure and there is also an interior pocket.

Retail was about $300 in Japan and more abroad if you could find it.
