Here is a very nice set of Children's tea set made in Japan.  The pattern is of a blooming cherry tree with a little green bird flying by.  The set includes 4 plates, 4 cups, tea pot w/lid, sugar w/lid and creamer, and a little serving bowl.  The tea pot is marked Little Duchess and then has Japanese writing.  That is the only piece that is marked.  I ran my fingers over each piece and cannot detect any chips.  The paint has no rubbing.  It is a very nice set - here are the measurements:
