Clearing out shed space.

Vintage Bertetto French bike frame 50cm.
Reynolds 531 tubing according to the sticker.

Bought as a drop-bar build for the Mrs, but she decided to stick with flat bars, so the frame never got painted and built up.

Don't know the history of Bertetto, but this must have been a very nice bike back in the days, going by the tubing and the builder's attention to detail - see lugwork and bosses.

The rear dropout spacing is about 102-104mm suggesting a ss/fixie build, which puzzles me, as the frame has got the braze-ons for derailleurs.
Hub gears maybe?

Front spacing is 100.

There is some pitting on the top tube - see second photo, but it should fill / polish up nicely.

This is a French bike, so the threads are French. BB and Headset. You'll need a retro French jobbie or something like a modern velo-orange reproduction.

Seat tube is about 50cm and top tube is about 51cm - please let me know if you need more accurate measurements.
