 For sale a vintage Barbie who has been lovingly rerooted in shiny baby pink and and styled with her bangs which are kept longish should you want to do some hairdressing . Her hair is rooted side parting but wanted to resemble that familiar mod look so added a piece of hair a bit like at hair band (see last pics ) and securely attached it so she gets the look. You could take it out if you want the side part look as well .

The head has a discoloured look which is pretty common and her face is very pretty with newly rooted auburn thick eyelashes . Cannot see any obvious paint loss to her lips and touched up her blush a bit but there is some some wear to her face as she has a mark under her fringe and she has a slight split near one ear but with her earrings on not really noticeable , the same with the mark nothing exactly obvious on display as you can see from the photos .

Her body is a genuine midge with markings type with unbending posed arms and legs and is in nice order . Some marks and some scratches so not perfect and only nail polish on her fingers but still pretty good and you can pose her nicely and she looks very presentable.

Her dress is a little DIY job with an off cut plus some hand sewing . Never one to throw away an interesting piece of material so had a go at making a mod a 60s style dress . No way professional  so stitch marks and needed some elastics were needed at the back so she could get it on but overall It looks quite effective. Added some funky silver boots , earrings and bow and she look ready for a night in Soho.

All in all a fun little project  I enjoyed working on and who really belongs on display and selling at a reasonable price because of the TLC and she would would make a lovely addition to any Barbie collection.
