This is a used Mills 1.3 Mk II diesel, as produced in the UK from 1948 to 1963 by Mills Bros of London. It has been converted for radio control by the seller, using a rotary barrel carburetor.  The Carburetor is of the air-bleed type with the throttle bore matched to the original Mills intake port size.

The engine has been thoroughly checked over and bench tested by the seller using an 8" x 4" GRP propeller and D-1000 fuel.  It runs well, with progressive response to the R/C throttle and reliable idle.  The Mills serial number is 20/239

This engine would be an ideal power unit for a vintage model such as the KeilKraft (Bill Dean) Bandit.  In conjunction with light-weight 3-function radio gear it would enable full control to be achieved.
