PLEASE READ! SPOILER ALERT! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline TNT Bird (Ford Thunderbird T-bird) released in 1970 and in the Spoilers Series. This is the Hong Kong version. This car was a basketcase when I got it! I took it apart and stripped the paint off, then I polished it. I didn't plate it because I feel this looks more authentic but there are metal defects that will show through. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame purple and gave it a black roof. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to the lighting. It was put back together with my version of repo rivets.

Glass : original (some scuffs)

Interior: original champagne
Axles: original straightened 
Wheels: repo bearings

Engine: original

Stickers: repo

The base was polished and I repainted the taillight and grill. You can see by the pics that the base was horribly corroded when I got it. This is one of the hardest color combos to find! So if you've been wanting that minty purple TNT Bird but can't find or can't afford one, this beauty plays the part!
