Can you believe Noxzema is celebrating its100th Anniversary! That's right! For over 100 years, Noxzema has undergone plenty of different looks, but the same tried-and-true formula (and smell!) remains. 

Developed by a pharmacist in 1914, the Noxzema name was coined after customers claimed the cream had "knocked out their Eczema."No Eczema = NOXZEMA. While the brand doesn't position it as a treatment for skin ailments, it surely is a fun fact.

Noxzema is a brand of skin cleanser marketed by Unilever. Since 1914, it was sold in a small cobalt blue jar; but is now sold in a blue plastic jar. Noxzema contains camphor, menthol, phenol and eucalyptus, among other ingredients. Originally developed as a sunburn remedy, it is a type of cold cream or vanishing cream which is used as a facial cleanser and make-up remover.
