Ok straight off I'm not a big Lionel collector. This Wix Filter set came from a local sale just last week. Comes with everything shown here plus the box. The key piece is the Wix boxcar. All the cars and the engine are in nice condition. No cracks holes all the cars still fit together nice. Nothing has been cleaned or altered in anyway just as it came estate fresh. This will keep you busy for days on end with tips and a toothbrush👍 14 pieces of track.  The yellowing on the Wix car may clean a bit but I don't know if a process exists that will remove the yellow tint that comes with age to the older white cars. Some of that age is UV light. I've shot several images of the cars and accessories. The box is missing the lid and the lady at the sale has put some clear packing tape on the corner of the box. Maybe you can get that off with minimal damage or leave it . Your call. It's got 60 plus years of dust and build up on everything. I do not note any damage to the Wix car or any of the others. If anyone wants detail photos of something let me know I can send them to you(I don't live on the internet so give me a bit)  I know that the history of this set has a lot of holes as to numbers produced etc... if you have specific questions on that stuff I would consult a knowledgeable collector. All these items will be safely packed / handled with care. I'm too damned old to keep this set and give it the love it should have. Plus getting a set with the OG Wix box with the name on it from Lionel should go to a collector who can display it and do it justice. This set is how it came from the sale nothing added or taken out. If it's missing something I wouldn't know what it is. Again I know most people want just the Wix car and no I won't sell it on its own. I'm sure the money would be to do that but maybe a collector on a budget can score this so it not outlandish. Feel free to steal the photos and post them on a forum for questions or even answers it's cool by me. Trust me I was excited to get this set also! I know it's not a super high dollar set but to me any Wix set is a nice thing. The box will be about 19x19x12.  Just a FYI on the shipping (the transformer is much of the weight here!) and it will be insured. Let me know your questions. Thanks!!
