Up for auction is a Lionel #494 Rotating Lighted Beacon.  I have been using it on my inside platform.  An electromagnet rotates the beacon.  The beacon needs to warm-up for a couple minutes to commence rotating, and then works fine.

The Beacon will be well packed in a sturdy carton – wrapped with bubble wrap (and where needed bubble balloons, packing peanuts, etc.) and shipped within 1 day of payment.
