Starbucks vintage "Java" rare crewneck sweatshirt xl. Original Java logo with  purple cup and red swirl, I think from the late 1980's to mid-1990's. Starbucks logo is on the left sleeve (unusual placement) on a Fruit of the Loom cotton sweatshirt. This was sold for a short period of time as store merchandise where I bought it.

This logo was designed by an employee - another different aspect as it wasn't the usual design firm. The logo lasted for a couple of years and then was updated with a professional version from Heckler Assoc. This logo for Java really reflects a different time in the evolution of Starbucks. It was worn a little but mostly it has been in a drawer for a few decades. It needs someone to enjoy it. Washed, cotton, design print is in great shape, smalls cracks. Truly unique!
