Up for auction is a pair of vintage L'Echarde by Spinners jeans with a modern flair perfect for the fashionista who wants to be one-of-a-kind. These jeans were made in the early 1980's of a 100% cotton denim in navy with a light pinstripe. They have a tapered leg and a relaxed fit as they are pleated under the front yoke; there are slash pockets in front; they have belt loops to accommodate a thinner belt; they are creased down the center front and back of the legs. There is a zipper fly with plain brass button; the L'echarde logo is on a maroon patch on the back below the belt loops. They have never been worn and still have the paper tag sewn to the back waistband and as such are in very good condition. The size tag says 5/6 but as they are vintage they run a lot smaller and are NOT being sold as a 5/6, they are being sold as a 25" waist so should fit an XS depending on how you want them to fit--see measurements to ensure proper fit. Laid out flat they measure: 12 1/2" waist across the back, 17 3/4" hips across back, 28 1/2" inseam, 12" rise, 13 1/2" from crotch to back waistband, length top to bottom 39" measured at the side seam, and legs measure 11 1/2" wide when measured across at the crotch area, 6 1/4" when measured at the ankle  (Compare these measurements to a pair of jeans that fit you to know if these will fit). There are no major stains or strong odors I can find anywhere on these pants as they were never worn, they are in very good vintage condition. I only mention this as I am very picky & want to be as detailed as possible in my description so that you know what to expect.

Save on shipping when you win more than one item! I am always happy to combine shipping costs from multiple auctions, however all items must be paid at the same time to receive shipping discounts. All shipping is done Mon & Fri as these are my days off. Exceptions sometimes made if possible. There is a small handling fee already added to shipping charges to pay for insurance & help defray cost of shipping supplies. If shipping seems high to you please consider the fact that this includes insurance, that shipping supplies are paid for, and the distance the item is traveling (I am in Florida-- if you are on the west coast shipping does cost a bit more & take a bit longer). Shipping will be in a priority flat rate envelope to save you money. If you would like it shipped by another method to keep them wrinkle-free, please be aware that the cost may be slightly higher.

  •  Shipping charges may seem high but this is because insurance is included so that you will definitely receive your item. If lost in transit 100% of your purchase price will be refunded. I will not consider shipping without insurance. I am also now shipping with registered mail added when shipping to an international address. There has occasionally been a lost shipment and first class international will not track after leaving the US-- Priority mail international which will track is more expensive than First Class Internatioal with Registration; if Priority will save you money I will invoice you this way. I cannot ship internationally at any lower cost at this time.



Please note: Most of the items I sell are either vintage or gently used. I try my very best to accurately describe all items and list all flaws. Although I list all flaws I can find, sometimes something small gets overlooked. If a statement such as "age wear" or "manufacturing defects" is used in the description, it means that the item is not flawless and your bid constitutes knowledge of that fact. By bidding you agree to the following terms: returns will only be made if the item returned is the actual item I sent to you; that the item will be unused by you or anyone else; all identifying tags will still be attached and not removed (photos kept for placement verification). I do not refund shipping charges, nor do I pay return shipping charges. I ship all items insured so if an item is damaged in transit, you agree to attempt to seek compensation from the insurer by filing a claim before attempting to have the item refunded by me. I have had experiences where buyers contact me with a claim for damaged items when the defect was clearly stated in the description and visible when using the zoom function on the photos. I try very hard to make your experience the best I can and want you to be happy, but I can't afford to refund shipping charges that were paid to the post office when defects were seen in the photos-- please make sure to use the zoom function to examine the item before bidding. I am always willing to refund but can only refund cost of item, not shipping. On this particular item, it was closely examined for flaws and I have stated everything I saw. However, if something was missed it would likely be very small & not noticeable while being worn so for that reason, no returns will be made on a "not as described" claim, although I will take a return as long as the item is unused by you, item must be returned within 30 days--see return info for details.
