THE DEVIL & THE HUNCHBACK

Very rare piece of German Notgeld currency with an ethnic theme. Issued in 1921, this 50 Pfennig banknote shows a meeting between the devil, flanked by a black cat, and a hook-nosed hunchback with red eyes flanked by a white snake and a toad (traditionally associated with witches).
The reverse has a sepia tone photograph of the town that issued the bill or scenes of nature surrounding it. The front is signed by the mayor. This note only circulated for 4 weeks which makes it hard to find on the collector market. Retail $75+. Buy Now for $25 and SAVE 66.6%+!
