Black rubber 'boot' glides to fit the 7/16" steel ball leg-end of a Charles Eames Eiffel Tower base. The glide a heavy gauge nickel plated steel foot. This is the original style of glide employed by Eames on the final version of the Eiffel Tower base and pre-dates the more familiar nylon swivel glide. These original glides are made of two components that are hand assembled. This was a laborious and time-consuming process which ultimately produced a superior product.

These genuine New Old Stock glides are made of rubber which has a degree of flexibility not found in other materials. It will fit original Herman Miller DKR, DSR and DAR Eiffel Tower chair legs as well as those made by Vitra, Hille, Mobilier International and ICF.
