Sicura is a Swiss watch manufacturer that has a long and interesting history tied to the renowned brand Breitling. Sicura was founded in 1945 in Grenchen, Switzerland and initially specialized in manufacturing watches with chronograph complications. In 1961, Sicura acquired the rights to the Breitling watch company, which had fallen on hard times. This allowed Sicura to leverage Breitling's prestigious brand name and reputation for high-quality chronograph watches. For over a decade, Sicura produced watches using the Breitling name and designs. However, in 1979 the Breitling family regained control of the Breitling brand and cut ties with Sicura.

This is a vintage men's Sicura wristwatch with Swiss movement and day/date feature. The watch has a silver case, gold fluted bezel, and a black dial with analogue display. Its strap is multicoloured and the watch was manufactured sometime between 1970 and 1979. It comes with no papers or original box/packaging, and has not been customised in any way. The watch's water resistance is untested as the case back doesn't easily come.off.

This Sicura watch is perfect for those who love vintage timepieces with simple yet elegant designs. It has a dress/formal style and would be a great accessory for any occasion. The day/date feature adds functionality to the watch, while the gold fluted bezel gives it a touch of luxury.
