One side is the middle east where most countries have different names than they do now. Syria and Egypt are there, but not Iran or Iraq. One side is turkey in Asia and the other is labeled Palestine. One is also labeled China and Indo-China. From an Atlas from the early 1900s. Very interesting in light of today's news.
