Due to the age of Coins we can't confirm if they have been cleaned or not in the 100's of years since they came out. If they don't have substance/weird toning, surface scratches in a direction, or rubbed down areas, they might still be considered cleaned. It can sometimes be difficult with photography to provide an exact representation of what a coin looks like. 

The luster may not show. There may be fine imperfections that do not show up in a photo but in most cases our camera magnifies even the smallest imperfection.  Upon receiving the coin you may not see any imperfections without a magnifying glass.  Toning may be more or less accentuated as well.

Most buyers tell us that our coins look better than in the photos.
