For auction is this Antique Elgin Size 6s Model 1 Grade 94 11 Jewel Gold Filled Full Hunter Case Pocket Watch being sold for Parts or Restoration.  The watch Stem Winds but is wound tight and is not running.  It Lever Sets properly.  The lever Set is deep in the case and may require a pin to withdraw it.  The face is White Porcelain with painted Black Roman Numerals and Hands marked Elgin above center with a Sunken Seconds Chapter at the 6:00 O'clock position.  The dial does not have any cracks, chips, hairlines, or flea bites, but it was not opened to remove the dust.  The works are stamped Elgin Nat'l. Watch Co.  SAFETY PINION  2257226.  The outside of the inner back case cove is engraved with Mary from Will Sept. 26, 1886.  The inner side of the inner back case cover is stamped with and Anchor and Snake cartouche.  The inner side of the outer back case cover is stamped with the Anchor and Snake cartouche and DUEBER 1054075.  The front case cover is Machine and Hand engraved with a bird looking upwards at an engraved date 1886.  The engraving on the back case cover is similar and is not monogrammed.  All three case covers open and close properly.  There is a stamp on the back rim of the case 75  DUEBER'S PAT'D.  The serial number indicates the watch was made in 1887 but the engraving is three months earlier.  This watch is apparently one of the earlier of the Run Quantity of 20,000 made.  Weight 2.2 oz.  cbldc4914
