Triple Achromatic Lens

Beautiful huge and early lens by Dallmeyer, this Triple Achromatic lens has been built in 1862 and is in well preserved condition.
Made during a short period, Triple Achromatic was link between Portrait/Panoramic lens and Rapid Rectilinear lens.
Combination of 3 achromat lenses.

Perfect for architecture and copying photography in ultra large format (covers 40x50cm at infinity and 30x40cm at portrait/group distance), focal length of 585mm (back focus) can be reduced by half once center glass is unscrewed (circa FL300mm for portrait photography). Then reduces covering also.

This is the sliding tube adjustement version with a Waterhouse slot (no waterstop included), brass barrel is still shiny and in pretty condition with some marking, glasses are bright (the center glass has a slightly cement separation on the edge, without effect on taking picture).
No flange (116mm mountinh thread).
