I am a potter, and this salt shaker is a little bundle of pottery perfection. The color is Robin's Egg Blue. For me it does not have to be used for that purpose. It can just be. An absolutely lovely example of pottery in its simplest form. There are no imperfections of the ceramic piece itself but a small piece of the "S" cork stopper is missing. This one is a beauty.
