I believe this is the first version of the 1953 Coe log hauler truck.  As you can see in the pictures, it has tabs which hold the chain in place, later versions do not have these tabs.  I don't see any mention of these tabs in any of the Tonka reference books.  I have a couple of hundred Tonka toys and this is the first time I have ever seen this version.  I bought this trailer with its original load of "nine logs" which had a nice dark patina so I decided to keep them for another truck.  The logs on this trailer are replacements.  

Shipping weight will be about five pounds, the trailer alone is about four pounds with the logs.
