Here we have an attractive and colorful specimen of the bluish colored copper silicate Cu5(Si2O6)2(OH)2 shattuckite perched on a matrix of light bluish-green colored chrysocolla from Namibia. The shattuckite occurs as light to dark bluish colored spherical to 'mammilary' radiating crystal aggregates and they have a 'matt-like' to almost silky luster.
