This buy it now auction is for a quirky terracotta male figure having a characterful face with bulging eyes and with a nose that resembles a beak and wearing what looks like a night cap.

I believe the item to be old or very old but as I can not be definitive about it’s precise age it is best regarded as being of indeterminate age.

In regards to to it’s origins it is highly likely to be Middle Eastern Syrian or perhaps Turkish.

Condition is good with no damage but some age wear.
