This buy it now auction is for a small porcelain Bon-Bon dish produced by Augarten Wien (Vienna) Austria designed by the architect Josef Hoffmann one of the founders of the Wiener Werkstaette movement renowned for designs that created the Secessionist movement.

This particular design is “Deco Vienne” and was produced in 1929.Not withstanding the design name it displays patterns that reflect the Secessionist style whilst also having Art Deco components of geometric abstract designs,The plate has linear patterns in gold and black with gilt/gold extremities.It is further decorated with slender bellflowers,heart shape fauna and bold black shaped design.

Although small this is a stunning example in excellent condition free of any damage.
