Yes, the visionary behind the beloved Wallace & Gromit characters, who also did work on Coraline and The Boxtrolls, has imbued his one-of-a-kind creativity with this charming doll. This blonde-haired little girl is sporting a jaunty green houndstooth dress with a green blazer. A straw hat adorned with a green ribbon, white socks and sturdy leather shoes complete her look. Phillip's dolls rarely come to market, so don't miss this one!

This fabulous piece belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years. Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one. We thank Madame Y for trusting us, it is an honor to share them with others who love artisan miniatures as much as we do.
