Miniature Dollhouse Signed Sylvain Forget Amstram Dolls Art Sculpture Boy, Piano
The Melody Maker with the Sun-Kissed hair

This truly unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-sculpted clay dollhouse boy with his piano is a fine work of art, created and signed by the talented artist Sylvain Forget of Amstram Dolls. Sylvain hand sculpted the boy's head and body with the best polymer clay over a wire armature that reaches into every limb and each finger! Using classical painting techniques, thin layers of Genesis oil paints were then artfully applied to give him the most lifelike appearance possible. His tiny eyes are made with a resin that looks impressively realistic, as well. Each of Sylvain's dolls are made without assistance of any molds or shortcuts. As are the clothes, down to the smallest detail.

This young boy has been sculpted with such care and detail that his shy personality seems to shine through. His straight, blonde hair is meticulously styled to brush his ears, framing a precious face with hand painted features including rosy cheeks hinting at adventures just waiting to happen. Classic, knee-length blue denim overalls are layered over a cheerful pastel striped knit top. Adorable sculpted mouse slipper shoes complete his playful outfit. He comes along with his wooden youth piano, but you could replace this with another 1:24 piano of your choice, alternatively (I have included a picture of him with a 1:24 piano to give you an idea of scale). This little fellow also arrives with a magnetic and acrylic clear stand, and his original hand-signed and numbered wooden storage box painted a boyish blue adorned with gold trims and rhinestones. To top it all off, a framed portrait of the doll graces the top.

*This listing includes the young boy doll and his simple piano, as described only. Any other items shown are not included, but are displayed for scale.*

This fabulous piece belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan.  For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y.  Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about.  Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world.  When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years.  Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece.  We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her.  She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one.  We thank Madame Y for trusting us, it is an honor to share them with others who love artisan miniatures as much as we do.

Selling Vintage and Antique Disclaimer
I sell Vintage and Antique items, typically they come with dust, scratches, bumps, bruises and the like (aka, they are not perfect but always still fabulous).  I do not claim, nor am I an expert on most things I list however, I do my best to accurately describe each and every item.  If I have missed something important or have made an error in a listing, please contact me as the more information the better.  If you purchase something from me, please pay on time or contact me prior to the listing ending so we can make arrangements.  I do my best to pack everything as if it were my own, but if during the postal ride it is broken or it is not as described, please contact me so we can figure out what to do to make us 'both' happy.  Leaving a negative feedback before attempting to let me know what's wrong is 'not' kind.  I work very hard to find, list and expertly ship each item...I treat customers the way I would like to be treated, please to the same in return.
