This is a beautiful antique Bell & Howell Model 645 Lumina 8mm Super-Auto Load Film Projector.

The projector at its time was cutting edge and the best spec model through Bell & Howell of this type of machine.

This would be great working or as part of a collection or TV Film prop.

Packed with features it demanded a high price in 1961 of £59.18s.6d which in today’s money is approximately £1,100.

The Projector comes in its original box, with packaging, user manual and sales brochure from July 1961.

The projector is in very good antique used condition and has been stored in its box for many years.

The previous owner used to work for Rank and this machine was used as a test/display machine. The cable was cut short as it was plugged in through a hole in the desk/counter top and not moved. The cable has now deteriorated and needs to be replaced - this is why the machine is untested as the cable is not safe for use.
