Hello.

I am offering a pair of the Classic, Audiophile grade, Sennheiser HD 424 Headphones from the Early to Mid 1970s. This is a Rare Early Production Example, based on the Drivers appearance and weight. Still very lightweight and transportable, but not suitable for using on the move, due to their Open-back design and relatively Large size. With a High Impedance of 2000 Ohms and a relatively low sensitivity of 94Db at 1mW, a Good, powerful Desktop Amp is mandatory, as they require a generous Voltage swing and good Current capability.

They are capable of impressive Transparency and Soundstaging, with a particularly Rich and Explicit Midrange reproduction and Clear Highs. Bass extension is lacking, therefore these are especially suited for musical Genres such as Classical, Choral, Vocal and Acoustic. They will work particularly well with a good Valve/Tube Amplifier.

In Excellent overall Cosmetic condition and Technically sound.

Please read detailed description regarding condition.

Notice to Zero Feedback buyers: Due to Time-wasters and attempted Fraudsters, I will cancel any purchase without previous contact and agreement!
