This replacement unit says it is 450 watts, that is higher than what is currently in my computer, are you sure this will work?
Yes, the higher wattage is actually better. The 450 watts is a maximum output. This will work perfectly as an upgrade over your lower wattage power supply. The voltage and wattage values listed for output current are significantly higher than on the original. I am assuming that this is not a problem as these values are only what it is capable of delivering, but I just wanted to make sure that this unit is definitely compatible despite the differing values?
