For sale superb 1930's Waltham USA trench watch.

This was one of my fathers watches found in a box..

This has a Dennison rolled gold case with fixed lugs in very good used condition - just minimal wear.

The porcelain white dial is superb and free of cracks.

It has arabic numerals, red 12 and sub second dial.

The blued steel hands are also original.

It looks great on the wrist and really pops in the sunlight.

The plexi is in great condition with some marks that will polish out.

It has it's original crown.

It has a snap on case back fully stamped on the inside with Dennison and the model number.

It uses a 7 jewel manual wind movement that will tick for a very short while but does not work as it should.

Also I think one of the movement screws is loose so will either need tightening or replacing - the dial moves slightly when pulling out the crown.

The watch will need a proper overhaul so please bear this in mind. I am no watchmaker so don't know what it will take to get it working.

The watch is 31mm in diameter without crown and 35mm with.

It is 35mm lug to lug and has 20mm lugs.

It comes on a 20mm lizard strap - used but still wearable.

This is a very original example and considering its age is in fantastic condition.
