Popular decorating item from the 1960s-1970s. Sometimes purchased as Souvenirs, sometimes sold commercially in USA.Octagon gilt frame, decorated to look aged. B&W reproduction print of an actual painting from 1775-76.The original was done by renowned artist Joshua Reynolds. The little girl is Miss Jane Bowles with her King Cavalier Spaniel puppy. Red flocked velveteen backings, has large slit for some reason. Marked on back "Made in Italy". Has remains of piece of foam/sponge to keep painting stable against the wall.  Metal sawtooth hanger on back for hanging picture.
