Here is a stunning, all original, Victorian Singer treadle sewing machine, fiddle base, model improved family or 15-1  dated 1884 by serial number 6682507.

This gorgeous antique Singer is truly beautiful, the magnificent decorations are in superb condition with only a little wear on the sewing side edge. This decoration pattern is called Scrolls and  Rose's. Stunning to look at! Look at the perfect Singer logo on the arm of the machine! Amazing. The bed decal is also stunning with four carefully arranged large roses.

The beautiful coffin lid is superb, satin walnut with a burl walnut inlaid panel and a perfect Singer logo. Original drip pan is present.

Remarkable Singer quality as this 140 year old sewing machine still sews a great stitch as seen in my photo. Amazing that it runs as smooth as the day it was made 140 years ago. We tested the bobbin winder and tensioner and stitch length adjustment and all was in perfect working condition. It runs beautifully and the,stitches were perfect top and bottom stitch.

This is a machine that is becoming very rare and in such good condition as this one quite hard to find! The cast iron treadle base is superb, has a very ornate wheel, beautiful, original intact gold lettering on the large, cast iron  Singer logos and some of the lovely gold scroll work is still on the treadle base legs. The original black lacquer on this base shows very little wear.

This is the complete treadle sewing machine and includes the machine head, beautiful coffin lid, table with dovetailed drawer, superb original cast iron treadle base.  This machine uses regular Singer 15x1 needles.

Comes with most of the original attachments as seen in photos and an extra bobbin, also a very good treadle belt. I also have the wooden spool holder for the hole in the table top which is not pictured but will be installed before shipment.

Condition is excellent for this antique. The sewing machine has beautiful decals for 140 years old, machine runs smooth and sews perfectly, the coffin lid and table show some  typical wear for its age and the treadle base treadles perfectly smooth and this cast iron base is the best I've seen.

These antique Singer treadles are a big part of sewing machine history in the U.S. and this one is beautiful .
