This is a Fender USA American Special Jazz Bass.
The cost-effective series American Special was produced under his concept of making Made In USA available to more people. Maple neck, rose fingerboard, 864mm (34) scale/241mm (9.5) R/38.2mm nut 20F specification, PU is equipped with two Standard Vintage Alnico Magnet Jazz Bass, and the control is the orthodox configuration of 2Vol/1Tone.
Although it is a reasonably priced product made in the USA, it has the same sound playability as a higher-end model, and is recommended for bassists who want to step up and for those who are looking for a bass for home recording.
Appearance damage such as discoloration, scuffs and play marks, scratches/paint chips around the body, ring marks on the back of the neck, picking marks, buckle marks, heavy peg movement, cloudy metal parts and screws, etc. ) can be seen.
It has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret alignment, deburring) upon arrival, and the fret height is high enough for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening and loosening directions.
