Recording has some flaws; there is snow / grain on the edges of the picture and the images flicker. Otherwise, the item has been tested and works well. The item has minor wear and tear throughout it. The item was tested and confirmed working for all basic functions; play, rewind, fast-forward, stop, pause, eject, and power. The line in composite inputs work well. The line out composite output works well. I did not test the coax connections. The remote included will need to be programmed to the unit in order to work, please follow the included instructions to complete the remote programming. No batteries are included (requires 2x AA).
