2 x Antique Kings Pattern Silver Plated Preserve Spoon EPNS A1 Wishbone 13.2cm

two preserve/jam spoons in the Kings Pattern, slight larger than teaspoons with elongated bowl. Marked to the back A1 SEPNS with a wishbone symbol. The A1 stands for top quality silver plating, the "S" possibly for Sheffield. The wishbone symbol is sometimes attributed to Edwin Blyde as they use a wishbone symbol but if has not been confirmed. The spoon came from an incomplete cutlery set which had some pieces with silver handles dating to 1909 so I would presume this piece is of a similar time.

I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Everyone has different considerations when purchasing items and if you need any further information, please feel free to contact me and I will try to help.

Condition: In a reasonable condition,  the plating appears in good order and they are quite bright and shiny, light scratching from use and some light tarnishing. Please also see photos.

Please feel free to ask any questions but please please ask through Ebay. Unfortunately, selling on Ebay generates a lot of spam and dubious emails and we now only respond to questions placed directly through Ebay. We will try to answer questions as soon as possible. There are times where we may not be able to reply within 24 hours but we will reply well before the listing ends.

Packing - We pack to ensure the item arrives with you undamaged. If you have specific packing instructions, please contact us before paying as this may have an impact on the price, as both an increase in weight or size can increase the cost of delivery.

We do try to recycle boxes and other materials wherever possible and will mostly use newspaper for padding out, if it does not have any impact on the cost of postage.
