Vintage very beautiful and complete Asian/Chinese chess set with folding board includes draws. The board has beautiful wood grain 1 7/8” squares with carving on the border. All 32 chess pieces are in very good condition, beautifully carved . The white elastic in the drawer’s is stretched. Very beautiful design. The kings measures approximately 4 7/8”, queens 4 1/4”, bishop 3 5/8” knights 3 1/8” and rooks 3 1/16” and ponds 2 3/4”. The ponds are all different carvings. The open board case measures 19” x 19” and 3” tall. With the board closed it measures 19” x 9 3/8” x 6 1/4”. The case is exceptionally nice as well as the chess pieces.
