Paul Reed Smith PRS SE Silver Sky Maple Overland Gray

About
The SE series, which inherits the sound quality of the PRS while achieving a guitar in an affordable price range, has been used by guitar players around the world since the introduction of the Santana model in 2001, and has gained market share in the same price range. It has established a solid position in the industry, and has now grown to become one of PRS's main lineups. Now, JohnMayer's signature model SESILVERSKY has been added to the SE series. The Maryland-made SILVERSKY, which John Mayer took over two years to complete with Paul Reed Smith, is the ideal model that John Mayer was looking for, one that combines modern ideas and functionality while following a vintage taste. Not only has it become a worldwide hit, but it is already used by many professional guitarists.

Major features
Like the US model, the headstock is based on the unique shape of the PRS, taking into account John Mayer's playing style, and has a curved design that leaves room on the first string side to prevent fingers from hitting the headstock, and stable tuning. In order to further increase the degree of accuracy, we have adopted a unique peg arrangement.
The neck is 635JM, which is based on the shape of vintage guitars made in 1963 and 1964.The neck is a 635 from 1963 and 1964, meaning it is between the two years. It features a maple fingerboard, bolt-on neck, 22 frets, 25.5-inch scale, and SmallBirds, a downsized version of PRS's signature bird inlay.
The steel tremolo follows the classic design, but is equipped with a knife-edge screw to minimize out-of-tuning when arming. In addition, due to JohnMayer's commitment, the bridge is set so that it is firmly attached to the body so that the string vibrations are transmitted more directly to the body.
SESILVERSKY's exclusive 635JM S single-coil pickup, like the US model, produces a rich mid-range sound, and features not only a thick and glossy clean tone, but also a sound with bite and attack when distorted.
As a result of pursuing playability and balance for a wider range of players, the fretboard radius was changed from 7.25 on the US model to 8.5.
