I replaced the batteries (2AA) and the radio works great. The clock/alarm isn’t working. When you take the back off where the batteries are you can see the small battery for the clock. It’s one of those button batteries. The paper instructions are included. They’re tucked behind the radio between the radio and the holder.

This was my step father’s and stored in a drawer, when not used, which wasn’t much. Not sure where he acquired it from, but I’m assuming from a bank when they used to give you awesome gifts for joining. Now you get a small paper calendar, if you’re lucky.
