Reluctantly decided to sell my wonderful Fries/Mitchell 35R3 35mm camera which is in first class mechanical condition.

The camera was originally a high speed Mitchell GC model which Fries Engineering of Hollywood converted to a reflex model with video tap. The conversion then upgraded it to a state-of-the-art special effects camera with added high speed motor with speeds up to 120fps.

The movement is renowned for rock-steady images, using registration pins with a 4 perf pulldown.

Rigged with a colour video NTSC tap. Included is a NTSC to PAL convertor if so required.

This camera is still used in special effects applications in the UK and Hollywood.

Also included are 3 x 400' mags in virtually flawless condition with flight case and camera case.

This is a truly magnificent piece of kit which has been well cared for.

Cosmetic condition: Has miniscule paint loss in tiny area in movement chamber otherwise great.

It has a PL lens mount.
