It has 2 tags on it - the purple disc says 1999 and the white tag says 1999, on the battery compartment cover it says 1998. 

All parts still attached and work as they should. It still has both sets of eyelashes. 

I've popped batteries in to test it and it works, I've attached a video showing this - My listing says that it can take 48 hours to review the video, so if you can't see it yet please check back later! When I tested it the Furby makes sounds, moves, sleeps and wakes up, I've also tested the reset button and that still works as well. 

The fur is still soft and there are no bobbles, matting or marks on it at all.

The battery compartment is clean, there is no corrosion at all, as you can see in the photos. The screw for the battery compartment is the original one, and there's no damage to that either. 

There aren't any major signs of wear, I remember playing with it as a child, but I must've looked after it very, very well!
