This sculpture depicts two "choir boys"holding the musical script singing "Jesus Loves Me" coming together in renewed friendship. It appears that these two little darlings have not always been so angelic. One sports two bandages and the other has a bandage above his nose and a black eye! A sliding lever is located on the back of the base to turn the music off. Wind up Key in on the bottom with the signature Jonathan & David original company name.

Precious Moments founding artist Samuel J. Butcher’s artwork has always been inspired by faith, family, and friends. His soulful illustrations of children with teardrop-shaped eyes were first only featured on popular greeting cards.
Working closely with Master Sculptor Yasuhei Fujioka, they created the first Precious Moments collection. He had captured the very essence of Mr. Butcher’s iconic Precious Moments artwork and had brought his vision to life!
Precious Moments figurines have graced the shelves of countless homes since the “Original 21” collection was released in 1978.
Before becoming a success with his figurines, Butcher worked as a janitor to supplement his income as a “chalkboard minister.” Faith has always been the guiding factor for Butcher and his family. Precious Moments figurines have touched people all over the world.
