The Bon Vivant restaurant, once located at 4367 Lake Park Ave. in Chicago, IL, was famous for its lobster dinner and considered a culinary institution in the Hyde Park society. It was known for its eight-course dinners featuring lobsters from Maine and Boston, served with a choice of three roasts. The restaurant, under the guidance of Henri Delaloye, offered a dining experience reminiscent of Parisian cafes, complete with specialized dishes like oysters with a unique butter and soft shell crabs​
